Summer 2017 6 Week Mini-Sessions
Summer mini-sessions are for both new students who haven’t been able to commit to a full session of classes during the school year, as well as returning students who want to review and continue their yoga practice over Summer Break. Classes will include stretching and core training with the hammocks, fun challenge poses, partner poses, free time to create in the hammocks, breathing exercises, games and meditation. Mindfulness will be practiced: however, the regular curriculum will not be taught. Mini-Sessions are $150 per student. Register Here

Yoga Up offers non-competitive classes that include meditation, mindfulness teachings and self calming tools in addition to fun yoga poses (in the hammocks when age appropriate)and games. Most classes will have a science, sensory activity, craft or art project that teaches about brain science or promotes self-calming and focus. We aim to help kids gain stronger bodies, minds and self-confidence. Class size is limited to 8 kids.
Yoga Baby Stay and Play (waddlers-2.5yrs ish)
If you and your baby yogi are both ready for some social interaction and exercise, this is the perfect class for the two of you! This is not a do yoga while your baby hangs out in a carrier. This is a “Mommy and Me” style class that has you doing poses with baby in hand. After some fun yoga stretching, songs and baby massage techniques, stay and visit with other adults while your little ones get some extra free play time in. My Buddy and Me Yogis (ages 2.5yrs-4ish)
This class is for kids and parents (or caregiver) to enjoy the benefits of yoga together. This class gives parents the opportunity to interact with other parents while their toddlers practice their social skills too. Through fun poses, stories, music, games and props, we teach skills that encourage self-regulation, self-calming, kindness and healthy practices from the start, and lots of fun bonding for you and your little one. Little Yogis (Ages 5-8ish)-All Winter classes are full
Yoga journeys, fun poses, songs and games help develop your little yogi’s gross and fine motor skills, focus, interactive play, self-regulation and self-calming tools that help your child thrive at school and in life. Little Yogis will practice yoga on the floor and move into simple poses in the hammocks. Most classes will have a short art or science mindfulness lesson and meditation. Sensory-sational Yogis and Friend (Ages 6-10ish)
Many parents have expressed interest in a yoga class for their neuro-different child. We understand the need to be in a community of others familiar with possible over-stimulation, anxieties or occasional outburst. Perhaps your child is on an ABA plan. This class is for a student and one adult partner. It will be a combination of yoga on the floor and in our aerial yoga hammocks. We will often have a short art or science lesson to learn about how our brains work and practice self-calming and meditation. We hope to offer a place for kids and their parents to build a sense of community and belonging while strengthening their bodies and minds. Class day and time TBD. Contact us if interested. We are looking for a Saturday teacher but we can possibly do a weekday class for homeschoolers.
Flying Fitness (Ages 8-12ish)
Yoga and mindfulness classes in the aerial yoga hammocks. In this class we will practice building strength, flexibility and coordination while learning new poses, inversions and flips in the aerial yoga hammocks. Yoga is even more fun in the air! Then we will complete a science experiment, art project or other activity that will promote brain science awareness and mindfulness practices before a quiet meditation time at the end of class.

Stretch, Think, Hang (Ages 13-16ish)
Teens (7th grade and up) will practice yoga both on the mat and in the air. After a lesson in the art area we will begin yoga with partner poses, challenge poses, stretching and mindfulness exercises on the floor before taking flight in the aerial yoga hammocks. Students will learn poses, inversions, and flips before ending class with a relaxing meditation. Come stretch your body and your mind and hang out!
